This work is inspired by and dedicated to the people of Gaza. By choosing to purchase this work, you will enable me to donate my profits to a charity helping people on the ground in Gaza.

The work has been inspired by Persian miniatures, with very fine detailed brush work.

A few words….

The work aims to focus on light in the darkest of hours. I wanted to highlight how the Palestinians continue to put their faith in an Unseen reality. This is how they find the strength to bear immense hardship. It’s as if they can see and sense it through all the dust and rubble, through the blazing skies, through the eyes of their dead loved ones, through every hardship they face they can feel the warmth of, and smell the scent of an Unseen Reality.

I wanted to document not just a visible reality but an invisible one too, one that is felt and prayed for, one that becomes real the more you turn to it.

For now maybe we can find some solace in knowing that those who have been martyred, will live on in the bodies of the green birds. They are fine now, but we are still here and our work is not done. We are not free until everyone is free. Free Palestine.
